More Information
Please check out below for additional information on health testing, genetic testing, the benefits of raw feeding, and the benefits of puppies raised on a curriculum.
Health & Genetic Testing
Health testing breeding dogs is essential to ensure the long-term well-being of the breed. It helps identify potential genetic conditions that could be passed on to puppies, reducing the risk of inherited diseases. By selecting only healthy dogs for breeding, breeders contribute to the overall health of the breed and improve the quality of life for future generations. Health testing also provides transparency to puppy buyers, showing a commitment to responsible breeding practices and the welfare of the dogs.

Raw Feeding
Raw feeding for dogs can offer a range of benefits, including improved coat condition, healthier skin, and increased energy levels. It supports dental health by reducing plaque and tartar build-up and promotes lean muscle development. Raw diets are often more natural and can help reduce allergies and digestive issues in some dogs, leading to overall better health and vitality.
Puppy Curriculum
Utilizing a puppy curriculum before puppies go to their new homes helps foster well-rounded, confident dogs. Early exposure to different environments, sounds, and textures enhances their socialization skills, making the transition to their new families smoother. It also aids in cognitive development and resilience, helping puppies adapt to new situations more easily. This foundational training can set the stage for a lifetime of positive behaviors and reduce the likelihood of future behavioral issues.

Puppy definitions
More information on what a pet home, co-own, or full registration puppy means

Pet Home
A "pet home puppy" refers to a puppy that is intended to be kept as a companion animal in a family or individual home, rather than for breeding, show, or working purposes. The puppy may not meet the strictest breed standards required for conformation shows or breeding programs but is still a high quality companion.

Co-Ownership
Here at TVK we have a couple different co-ownership options.
Pet home co-ownership is where the dog lives with the owner as a pet, but the breeder retains certain breeding rights over the dog.
Breeder co-ownership looks a little different and is negotiable depending on both parties needs.
All responsibilities are laid out and discussed prior to agreement and contract signature.

Full Registration
Full registration is limited with TVK and only agreed upon with vetted individuals. A puppy going with full registration is considered to be a breeding, show, or sporting prospect.
